This eye-catching satchel is made of durable automotive seatbelt material. This innovative bag is hand sewn with NASA grade nylon 69 thread. The interior is fully lined with Harveys classic monogram print. The double carrying handles measure 24 in. long and have an 11 in. drop. The five internal slip pockets measure: (2) 3« in. x 1 in., (2) 3 « in. x 5« in., and (1) 3« in. x 3 in.. There is also one internal zippered pocket that measures 3« in. x 6« in.. Included in the interior is a D-ring for hanging accessories or keys. The bottom of this satchel is protected with metal feet. Made in the USA.

Meet the HARVEYS, husband and wife Dana and Melanie Harvey. In March 1997, while installing seatbelts into their 1950 Buick, they had the idea of making Melanie a matching handbag. Everyone loved hers so much that they decided to make more. They started making them in their one car garage in California but quickly outgrew it. They've since expanded to a 12,000 ft2 design studio in Santa Ana, California where every SEATBELTBAG is lovingly built to exact specifications. The Harveys are committed to producing a bag of superior quality using the finest and most durable materials available. This bag is attractive, affordable, and (most importantly for me) indestructible. I get lots of compliments and questions about it. I usually carry a larger tote size bag, so I was worried that the satchel would be too small, but it still fits a lot.
The material does not show dirt or wear and holds its shape really well. The only drawback is that the seatbelt material makes the bag quite a bit heavier than the leather bags I'm used to carrying.
Overall, I love it and plan to get another seatbelt bag in a different color soon.

I received my Harveys Large Satchel bag a few weeks ago and I love it. Besides the fact that it's spacious, durable, and goes with everything, I can't tell you how many people compliment me on it. It's definitely a conversation piece.

I've been using this bag for several weeks and love it more each day. It's my third Harvey's Seatbelt bag and I can't say enough good things about them. They are durable and don't show dirt at all (especially the black, I'm sure the lighter colors may show dirt, but they are easy to clean with some soap and a toothbrush). This bag is a great size. I have a brand new baby and can put an extra diaper, wipes and bottle in this bag and leave the diaper bag in the car if I am just running in someplace fast. It is a little heavier than other fabric/leather bags, but it's a small price to pay for the quality of the bag. Lastly - Amazon has great prices on the Harvey's bags - 2 of my 3 seatbelt bags I have ordered from Amazon.
