I expected the leather to be a bet softer than it was for distressed.
It is VERY stiff and heavy. We used it to cary a camera in at Disney and other
theme parks to keep it dry on wet rides, which it did. Im guessing it will loosen up over time as leather last pretty much for ever.

I love this back pack. Lot of pockets and well made. I've had for about 6 months and it still looks great.

I bought this backpack for college thinking it'd be completely adequate for my needs. I was sort of right, however there's no wiggle room. I had 1 thick math book, 1 very thin paper back guitar book, and a paperback 300 page book for my English class. All 3 of these + small 3 ring binder barely fit in this. I'd use it more so for hiking if anything. If I had a full school schedule instead of part time, I wouldn't have been able to fit all of my school supplies into this. Great looking backpack, high quality, probably a life time back pack, but it's small.
