There is a zipper pocket along the back wall and a large snap pocket with two slip pockets in front of it on the front wall. The double handles have a drop of 6 ½ inches. Needed a stylish tote, which this RL tote hits the mark. The yellow (Solaire) is a soothing color, but I hope it travels well. Sprayed it with scotch guard to provide additional protection from it being soiled from normal wear and tear. Large enough to throw a few extras in, but it still is small enough to qualify as a large purse. It is sewn well, but the true test will be after my vacation to Barbados.
